{VIDEO TRANSCRIPT} So today I’m coming to you because I just finished reading this book and I’m really excited about it and wanted to share it with you! So the book I finished reading is called The Kindness Challenge and it’s written by Shaunti Feldhan and it’s a book that talks about different ways that you can use kindness to actually improve your relationship. It’s built for people who want to improve their relationships with their spouses, it’s for people who want to improve relationships with their family members. It’s for people who really need to improve relationships with other people: their bosses, co-workers, whatever…you can do improve any relationship through the act of kindness!
So the whole premise behind this challenge is that we have to love each other with an agape love. So you have agape love in friendships, you have Eros love in relationships. The Eros love is like the hey, how you doing kind of love…but that’s not what we’re going to talk about here. Even though that kind of love is beneficial in marriages and relationships, you have to make sure that you have true love for people which is the agape love. Romans 12:10 tells us that we have to be devoted to one another in brotherly love, giving preference to one another and honor. Yeah, that’s the word that men like to hear in relationships, right?
Okay, so I’m talking to you ladies! If you want to work on improving your relationships with your significant others, we’re going to try this Kindness Challenge. It’s going to be quick and easy, 30 days, really easy tips on how to improve your relationships through acts of kindness. So I hope that you decide to join me and we’ll see you back here tomorrow to start day one. Bye!
Make sure that you join us on the Facebook page for daily videos and to join the community of women participating in the challenge!
